The centrality of the apartment makes it very close to the main artistic attractions of the city and to the many activities of the center (restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops, shops. . .).

The city’s health facilities (nursing homes Eretenia and Villa Berica, Ospedale San Bortolo), the University, the Fair and the CUOA are easily reachable on foot, by bicycle (provided) or by public transport.

From Vicenza you can arrive by train in Venice in 45 minutes, in Padua in 20 minutes and in Verona in 25 minutes.

It is possible on request to organize private transport to and from the Veneto airports.

TIPS FOR A DAY TRIP IN THE SURROUNDINGS
 
There are some very nice small medieval cities in the surroundings of Vicenza ;
you can reach them by car or by public tranport, the bus station of Vicenza is close to the train station.
 
If you want you can visit them in the same day, doing a circular itinerary.
Just keep in mind that on Sunday there are less bus trips then in the other days.
 
 
MAROSTICA (30 km from Vicenza)

Marostica is a fortified medieval town with the famous “Piazza degli Scacchi”.
 
A very beautiful path “Sentiero dei Carmini” starts near “ Chiesa dei Carmini” and you arrive at the “Castello Superiore”  (Upper Castel), a very nice place with a beautiful view.
You can arrive at the Upper Castel also by car.

BASSANO DEL GRAPPA (10 km from Marostica)
 
The public bus is the same that you caught from Vicenza to Marostica.

The most famous place to visit in Bassano are: “Il ponte degli Alpini”,  and all the old city center (around “Piazza Libertà” , “Piazza Garibaldi”).
 
Near the “Ponte degli Alpini” there is the typical “Poli museo della grappa” and “grapperia Nardini” where you can have the famous aperitif called “mezzo e mezzo”

Cittadella is a beautiful fortified medieval town and you can’t miss the walk  “Mura di Cittadella  e Camminamento di Ronda”. This is a walk on the top of the wall all around the city, it is about 2 kilometers long, very nice. The entrance is near “Porta Bassano”. It costs 5,00 euro.
